MISSIONS

Journey the Church’s mission statement is reflective in our support of a multitude of missionaries around the world.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit."

(Matthew: 28-29)

  • VICENTE GUERRERO, BAJA CALIFORNIA

Twice a year (summer and winter), groups from Journey the Church go to Vicente Guerrero to provide shelter and basic assistance to local families.  We team up with nearby missionaries and churches to impact the community through the construction of homes and food distribution.  Every Christmas season, teams from Journey the Church deliver hundreds of children holiday gifts in the form of a simple shoebox filled with everyday essentials and toys.

  • VELKY KRTIS/LUCENEC, SLOVAKIA

Over a decade ago, Noah and Lussy Johnson began working with young people in the small town of Velky Krtis to develop a positive environment where young adults could develop and thrive.  Every summer, a team from Journey the Church travels to Slovakia to help Noah and IN Network host English camps for kids to build confidence and teach important life skills.  Our hope is that one day the emerging generation can make a profound impact in Slovakia, sharing the love of Jesus Christ.

  • KATHMANDU, NEPAL

Missionaries Cameron and Lisa started their work by distributing Bibles in the Himalayas to bring the good news of the Gospel to the most unreached places on earth. In the spring of 2017, they moved to the Himalayas with a team to pioneer a Discipleship Training School aimed at training westerners in a cross-cultural context with the hope of getting long-term missionaries in South Asia.  Cameron, Lisa, and their team have pledged to bring Bibles to 46,000 homes in 3 districts of Nepal and hope to reach even more.  They will also be starting and staffing a House of Prayer with several other missionaries with the goal of lifting up worship in prayer amidst the unreached.
