Journey the Church was started in July 2010 by six families who love the Lord and believe in a simple vision of loving the world one person at a time.  We started holding services in a home on Wednesday nights and after a few months started meeting on Sundays at Pitts Ranch Park, around a tree.

One cold and overcast Sunday, it was suggested we should hold services inside.  The following Sunday we held our first Sunday service in the auditorium at La Mariposa Elementary School. We met for ten weeks before outgrowing La Mariposa, and moved on to the Camarillo Boys & Girls Club.  During our time at the Camarillo Boys & Girls Club, we grew as a church substantially, and met amazing people who also felt called to love the world one person at a time. In March 2013 we were invited to move into the Camarillo Community Center.

We have been blessed by God through our entire journey, and believe that He has big plans for this kingdom-based church.  Some of those plans were realized in the summer of 2014 when we created a new mission organization, Loving the World Ministries.  Come join us as God continues to make more history!
